decent stay with minor drawbacks
freshly baked sconeslovely staffgood breakfastoutdated roommouldy tilesdirty towels
the staff was lovely and accommodating, especially at reception. we had afternoon tea and the scones were freshly baked. the scones were still warm too!!! the breakfast was lovely with a good selection to choose from.
the room was outdated, and very dark looking, and i didn't like it. the shower tiles had mould, so that was a problem for me. white towels had blood on, which should not happen at all.

The breakfast included with the room rate offered excellent value. There was a good choice of continental items and cooked food, including fresh croissants and bread. We also stayed in a cottage that was very cosy and had everything we needed.
I found the room disappointing. It was tatty and seemed to need some basic repairs. There was mould present, too. there were no plugs available on either side of the bed, so charging my devices was difficult.

underwhelming manor experience
acceptable locationbroken bathroom tilesdirty carpet
the location seemed acceptable.
i found my room to be quite tired with broken bathroom tiles. there was also mould around the bath and sink and i considered the carpet to be dirty in both the room and corridor. the entire place seems like it requires a serious update, i was quite disappointed.
